Visitors to Sunset Sands RV Park can take a lobster fishing boat tour and enjoy a two-hour trip around Henry and Port Hood Islands.

Sunset Sands RV Park is near great attractions like the Celtic Music Interpretive Centre, where you can hear great Scottish fiddle tunes every day of the week while you learn a bit of Gaelic. The Red Shoe Pub, offers a daily dose of great Celtic music as well. You can sink back in time at the Chestico Museum, which is filled with great historical artifacts and displays. Don't miss the antique farm and fishing tools, the Edison gramophone, or the collection of 19th century clothes. The Celtic Shores Coastal Trail is a multi-use recreational trail over 90km in length, equally impressive in terms of beauty and history.

The Port Hood area is as famous for its festivals as it is for its warm beaches. Stay with us at Sunset Sands RV Park and enjoy Chestico Days, a week long community celebration, packed with local talents, parades, dances, a golf tournament, and games of chance. Chestico Days is always held on the last weekend in July. Early in July, you won't want to miss the annual Lobster Picnic weekend, one of the tastiest festivals around.
